2. Overview
This website is an information site. It has no contact form, no newsletter, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no embedded videos or maps, and no social-media plugins. Fonts are hosted on our own server. The only personal data processed when you visit is the technical data described in section 3, plus whatever you send us yourself by email or phone.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Str. 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, on servers in Germany. When you visit the site, the web server automatically records so-called server log files: IP address (shortened), date and time, requested page, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to detect misuse. Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Log files are deleted after a short period, at the latest after a few weeks, unless they are needed as evidence of an attack. We have concluded a data processing agreement with STRATO in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
4. Security plugin
To protect the website against attacks, we use the security plugin Wordfence by Defiant Inc., 800 5th Ave Ste 4100, Seattle, WA 98104, USA. Wordfence processes the IP address and request data of visitors to detect and block malicious requests and stores them temporarily; IP addresses of blocked requests may be compared with Defiant’s threat database in the USA. Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security of the website). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Defiant is certified, and standard contractual clauses.
5. Cookies
This website sets no cookies for visitors. Only when you log in to the administration area (which is restricted to us) are technically necessary session cookies set. No consent banner is therefore required. Should we add tools that require consent in future, we will ask for it before they load and update this policy.
6. Fonts
The fonts Playfair Display and Inter are loaded from our own server. No connection to Google or any other font provider is established when you visit this site.
7. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of your message) to handle your request and for possible follow-up questions. Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your request). We delete this data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods (for example under commercial or tax law) require longer storage. Our email is processed on servers of our email provider within the EU.
8. Clients and proposals
If you commission us, we process the data required to prepare, perform and invoice the contract (contact persons, addresses, correspondence, workshop materials you provide). Legal basis: Article 6 (1)(b) GDPR. Accounting records are retained for ten years in accordance with Section 147 AO and Section 257 HGB. Workshop materials are deleted or returned after the engagement unless agreed otherwise.
9. External links
This site links to other websites, for example of our partner brands. When you follow a link, the privacy policy of the respective operator applies.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 20459 Hamburg.
